MANILA, Philippines – ONE Championship's done warming the Manila crowd.

In the preliminary fights of the "Kings of Destiny" Friday showpiece at the Mall of Asia Arena, Filipinos stood out.

Robin Catalan improved his record over fellow native Jeremy Miado via a split decision victory to kick off things.

Catalan is now 6-2-0 after his three-round finish.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend Michelle Nicoloni made quick work of Russian foe Irina Mazepa in the following tussle.

The crowd darling Nicolini scored an armbar at 2 minutes and 11 ticks to finish the match.

In the final pre-card tussle, Gina Iniong of Team Lakay notched a victorious debut over part-Filipino Natalie Gonzales-Hills.

The Baguio-based fighter scored a unanimous decision win in a fight that required three full rounds to settle.
